Each day is different
Left, right, backwards
Pushing ever forwards
Wondering if I’ll get there
Is it pointless?
The pushing, the straining, the endless wandering?

The path is long with detours
Filled with crooked edges
Unknown borders
Brambles cover the sides of the road

But each day counts
One step closer
To the person I will be
Better or worse?
I cannot say
Only different.
Only new.

So I push on
Towards the unknown brilliance
The unforeseen adventure
Embracing my jagged path
